Steve is a prolific scorer. Coach Vaillancourt will look to Steve to not only score but also to help control the tempo of the game. Steve will also be asked to help take care of the ball in pressure situations. Steve is a former member of the Ontario program. He was a member of the OBA dynasty of the Wildcats who won the Ontario cup every year and he is no stranger to that success. He was a very important player for us in the biggest games last season. Played his best ball at OFSAA. Steve is a member of the U-PLAY program and is already visiting schools in the US and Canada in October. |

Marc is a long, 6’6’’athletic player. Look for Marc to contribute a lot this season. With his confidence, with experience and constant hard work on his perimeter fundamental skills last season, Marc opened his game and will be an impact player within the HWCAA. He is CRAZY athletic and can jump out of the gym. He can dunk a 12 foot rim! He can shoot the ball and has great hands. We predict many poster shot in the next few years. Look for Marc to shine this season both on offence and on defence and continue his development to become a star in the near future. Marc is a member of the U-PLAY AAU program. |

Beni is a 6’3’’, hard-nose, tough-minded player who is willing to mix it up inside. He has the intangibles that coaches appreciate and is a solid guard and defender. He is a very athletic player who can play above the rim and dominate inside. He proved last year that he can shoot the ball very well, when his not dunking the ball on a late rotation. Look for Beni to start every game and take over the league this year. He is already visiting US and Canadian schools and is getting strong considerations from some programs. He is also a member of the U-PLAY AAU program. |

Jimmy is a fast, athletic senior guard with range on his jump shot. He can score in many ways on the opposition. He can also defend very well on the ball and turn his man at will. He is showing great leadership with the team and is a very positive presence for everyone. Jimmy is a member of the U play AAU team that will travel to the US in the spring for showcasing his talent . He already played in tourneys in West Virginia and Indiana where he did fantastic. Look for him to develop into a college player. |

Alpha is a freshman guard who just moved to Hamilton from Niagara-Falls. He is a tough player and is very effective especially in transition.
He is getting familiar with our program and is adapting really fast to the pace we are trying to play. The coaching staff is confident that Alpha will play big minutes at time and will have a chance to contribute to the Jag’s success. |

Elvis is a hard-nose, tough-minded player who is willing to mix it up to win. He is a solid senior guard and a great scorer. He will wear down his opponent with his tenacious defence. Elvis is a warrior who will be called upon to play an important role this season.
He bring great intensity and plays really hard for the team. Also a member of the U-PLAY AAU team, no doubt that he has the potential to develop into a star this year and turn many heads. |

Phil continues to impress the coaching staff with his dedication and determination. He is one of the most dedicated Jags when it comes to work to improve his game. As he gains experience playing at this level he will become a valuable staple within the Jag’s line-up. |

Sebastian is a tough freshman that will do anything to win a battle. He listens really well and improves fast. He is always the first one on the floor for a loose ball or a long rebound and his intensity is contagious to the rest of the team.
Sebastian is a huge part of the jags future and will no doubt start contributing this year already. |

Jesus impressed the coaching staff with his dedication and determination. He is one of the players who improved the most over the summer by working at the Y a lot and going to quality camps. His work ethic is impressive and his determination is evident.
Look for Jesus to play a backup role to the more experienced guard of the team this season. |

One of the top grade 12 guard in Hamilton, Daniel played a starting role ever since he came to high school. He was captain of the city champions midget team of two years ago. . He has range on his jump shot and handles the ball well. Being a coach’s son, Dan is a smart player and will handle the backcourt pressure that he will face this year very well. He is one of our best playmaker and will have many people talking about him again this season. He also is a standout player for the U-PLAY program and played in the children games in Bangkok, Thailand, a few years ago. |

Kevin impressed the coaching staff with his dedication and determination. He is again one of the players who improved the most over the summer. He became a valuable staple within the Jag’s line-up. He is a great defender and will be asked to play an important role in shadowing other players at times. Kevin is the opponent’s face and just will not go away.

Glody has extraordinary potential and needs to improve and play a lot in the off-season. He has a mobile body with a great hops. Glody continues to impress the coaching staff with his determination. He became a valuable staple within the Jags’ line up at 6’6’’ last year. he will be an important part in the future of our program. |

Jesse has the potential to be a solid perimeter player in years to come. He has a wide body with a smooth shot and great skills. He is a good shooter and slashes well around the hoop. Look for Jesse to wow the crowd with some interesting moves and his many ways to score the ball. He impressed last year as a freshman in our Hawaiin tour where he really played great ball. Jesse should play major minutes this year for us and possibly start games.

Richard is by far the fastest player on our squad and can change a game at will. He beats many bigger players to the rebounds by using his speed. Ha was the MVP of our junior team last season. He spent the summer playing with U-PLAY and getting noticed by many US schools already. He is a great point guard with tremendous defence on the ball.
Look for Richard to play an important role this season and possibly start some games for the Jags. |

Troy is a long 6’5’’ small forward who can really shoot the ball. He worked really hard in the off season to crack a spot on the team and he fully deserves it. Look for Troy to play big minutes at time, especially against the zone defence this season.
